How To Use Cake Crystals®
To Use: "Polish" your jewels with cooking oil to create the best possible shine prior to placing on your confection. Because your Cake Crystals® are made out of Isomalt they will not get sticky in the same way regular sugar candy will.
For best results, place Cake Crystals® on your cake when you are ready to display them. Placing them into the cooler and taking them out again can sometimes cause your jewels to become cloudy and will need to be polished again with oil or replaced. We have found that coating your Cake Crystals® with confectioner's glaze will protect them in and out of the cooler and freezer if you have to do this. Having said all of this, our jewels are extremely stable and in most cases will not have these issues.
Cake Crystals® are the only edible jewels on the market that are faceted top and bottom for the highest level of realism and sparkle.
Ingredients: Isomalt, Lactic Acid, Soybean Oil, Artificial Flavors, Sucrose, Artificial colors (red no. 40, blue no.1, yellow no. 5).

Shipping is based on actual weight of the product and you can choose your desired shipping when checking out. Packages typically shipping within 2 business days. Please remember that we are actual people and sometimes there are times when shipping can be delayed due to unforseen reasons. The shopping cart will not notify you when your product is shipped so if you are more than welcome to email us at cakecrystals@gmail.com if you would like us to send you your delivery confirmation number.

WHOLESALE INFORMATION
Please email us at cakecrystals@gmail.com for more information about our wholesale program. Please provide us with your Tax ID number, and a brief description of your busienss. We do not sell wholesale to non cake or decorating related businessess. Home bakers must have a registered business to be eligible for wholesale information.
Please take the time to read our guidelines and policies below. This page will answer many of the questions you have. After you are approved, sign in using your log in information to receive your wholesale discount.
OFFERINGS
We offer Cake Crystals® Edible Diamond cake decorations.
RETAILERS
We cater to cake supply stores, professional bakers, home bakers, and online cake supply stores. You must have a business license to be eligible for a wholesale account.
We do not offer samples. If you are not familiar with our decorations you may purchase single jars at retail through our online store. We only offer cases or builk cake crystals for wholesale purchasing.
MINIMUMS
Minimum order requirement is 1 case or one bulk bag.
PAYMENT
We offer a secure ordering website for your convenience. Payment is due at order placement.
SHIPPING
We calculate shipping based on actual weight. 1 Case of jars is weighted at 8 pounds. One bulk bag is weighted at 5 pounds. 2 bulk bags can be fit into a medium flat rate box for 10.95 but overshipping charges will be refunded prior to shipping.
Short or Damaged: Cartons should be inspected upon delivery and shortages reported to us within 3 days. Damaged goods should be reported to UPS
Returns: We do not accept any returns at all. Due to the nature of the products, unless items are damaged there will be no exchanges or returns.
DROP SHIP:
We do not offer drop shipping at this time.

We are not offering cake crystals for wholesale at the current time, but if you are interested in bulk ordering of 200 pounds or more at a time per color we can work with you for excellent distributor pricing.
All orders are completed through our website and we are not able to take orders over the phone at this time.

Can Cake Crystals® Be Used With Buttercream?
Well, yes! Why would we make a cake decorating product that can't be used with buttercream? I know, I know what you have heard about buttercream and isomalt but we have perfected our product to stand up. You can use a coating of confectioners glaze if you are worried but here is a picture of our test samples straight out of the package and put into buttercream. These have been sitting in their buttercream holders for 4 weeks in my residential kitchen in the open air. You be the judge.
But I would like different colors!
Not a problem at all. You can take any Cake Crystal and turn it to any color you can dream up! Just mix confectioners glaze with some gel icing color and paint the top of your jewel. You can make them any color you like. Here is one I painted like a ruby.
Can I put them in the freezer/cooler?
Yes! BUT, you need to cover them with a coating of confectioners glaze for them to keep their shine. Without doing this they will turn cloudy once they have a drastic temperature change and stay that way. I prefer to the CK Confectioners Glaze. Simply put your Cake Crystals into a bowl and toss them in confectioners glaze. Spread them out on a paper towel to dry and then place on your cake or chocolate product prior to putting them into the freezer or cooler.
